Some land is more than soil.
It’s legacy.

Two hundred thirty-five years ago, my Scottish and Germanic ancestors crossed an ocean and were granted 80 acres of East Tennessee hillside—a place to plant roots, raise families, and worship God in wide-open skies. The land stayed in our family for generations, carrying prayers in its fields and stories in its wind.

When I was seven I used to sit on the highest hill beside my father and tell him, “This is all I want out of life.”
This land.
This view.
This peace.

Before he passed, my father gave it to me. I was overjoyed—but life was hard, and in the banking crash of 2008, I lost what I loved most. Developers took the property, planning a subdivision where our history lived. My heart broke.

I cried out to God and made a promise: 

If I ever get this land back, I promise I will use it to glorify You.

Ten long years passed.

Then the miracle happened.
The developers couldn’t get certain right of ways to build their subdivision and called to see if I wanted to buy it back.

By then, I had the means—and the moment I stepped back onto the land, I knew God had answered my prayer.

The very first thing I built was our little white chapel.

Not for show, but for gratitude. A sacred place to honor love, covenant, and the God who restores what we thought was lost. A place where heaven feels close and forever begins.

White Chapel Farms exists so others can make holy memories here—standing on redeemed ground, committing their lives to one another in a place where God clearly dwells.
